Looking for a children’s dentist in Bakersfield, CA?

My daughter is very shy & I’m feeling anxious about her first dental visit. She does not open up quickly to new people or new experiences. I’m looking for a good pediatric dentist with all the video games & other fun stuff in their office to maybe distract her a little. We live in Bakersfield, so we’d like to find one locally.

I am not sure of the name of the office, but it’s the one next to Big Lots/Wal-mart over at the East Hills mall. My friend had to take her autistic daughter there. They gave her some mild sedative so they could work on her. My friend said they were awesome and really great with her daughter. So much so, that they now take their other 2 kids there and they live off of Stockdale and Ashe.

i recommend the american academy of pediatric dentistry website to help you find one near your area. here is the website:

start slowly with her. maybe make the first appointment for just looking around. ask them if she can watch other children get their teeth cleaned. have them introduce the insturments to her. but don't push her. that way by the second visit, maybe she'll be ready to give it a go. i good pediatric dental office will accomidate you with this request.

try comfort dental.. they have shuttles… video games, win toys.. painted walls and so much more..

there is a new one on California next to mervyns.. can't miss it.. all different colors.. but its not comfort dental
